A couple weekends ago we took a "quick trip" to Lake Powell. We left Friday after the boys got out of school, sat in traffic on I-15 through all the construction in Utah County for almost 2 hours, and finally made it to Paige, Arizona, around 11:30pm...the boys had barely fallen asleep 15 minutes before that. Saturday we spent the whole day out on the lake in absolutely perfect conditions--water 75 degrees, air 83 degrees, and then drove back home on Sunday. Whew! Fast, but fun.

He might be on to something!! This trip to Rainbow Bridge was a first for all of us.

It was a beautiful drive home through the canyon just east of Cedar City.
I could have stayed to take pictures all day!

What fun that looks like. I'm glad you got to go and I love the picture with the boys on the raft, that just looks too fun.
