(not forgotten) february

I really didn't forget about February because I did a couple of posts during that month, but I didn't post everything I wanted to, so this is a hodge-podge of our month...

This is Will's favorite box of legos we have--the mini figures!  It's amazing how many we have collected in just a couple of years.  (Not to mention all the other legos we have)

4th graders at Waterford get to choose a stringed instrument to learn for 6 weeks.  Ben wanted to play the cello, but figured that would be kind of a pain to haul on and off the bus, so he went with his second choice--the viola.  He did well, but he isn't clamoring to continue it.

Daren went to Father's Visiting Day at school with Ben (in science) and Jake.
I got to go and take pictures. :)

I completely missed writing about valentine's day, which the boys LOVE getting ready for.
The candy isn't so bad either.

The boys each got a mini-figure and a sugar cookie (from Great Harvest--yum!)...and then Will got a hold of the figures to mess them all up.  Typical!

Will with Mrs. Payne, holding the card Will made for her, and a shot of her desk with the pictures Will has drawn and given to her.

The first grade assembly was taken from Aesop's Fables, and Jake was in The Boy Who Cried Wolf.  He was one of the townspeople, and had a great time.

At the end of February we threw a small party for Jake's friend, Grant, who moved to Paris, France, over spring break.

I had to include this picture of Ben and his friend Reggie, wearing his onesies p.j.'s.  Love 'em!

The 4th grade "World Fair" was at the end of February.  Ben, along with Maya, Carson, and Emma, all did reports and presentations on Costa Rica.  Thanks to one of our neighbors, Michelle, who let Ben borrow many items she had from Costa Rica.

Now that February is done I can get back to the present and catch up on April!
