big plans

When I posted my last blog entry almost two months ago, I had big plans to catch up on so many blog posts that I should have done over the previous three months (years? who's counting).  Then Will started school on July 26, my sweet grandma passed away the first week of August, and by the time we got back to the state of Utah from the funeral, it was play as much as I could with the other two boys before they started school on September 7.  Or 6th.  Or 8th.  I've lost track.  Whatever two weeks ago from tomorrow is.

So finally I had all three boys in school, but the countdown was on until Will would go off-track three weeks later.  Once again, big BIG plans to catch up on the blog, but my computer has really taken a nose dive lately, and to even type this is a huge pain because I get the spinning ball of death every few words I type, so I have to wait for it to stop spinning so I can continue.  I'm getting a new hard drive put in tomorrow (yea!), but even thought I have everything backed up on my external hard drive, I'm still so nervous that I'm going to lose all my pictures.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed!  (That's what Ben does every morning when we are late for the bus, and miraculously we manage to barely get there before it leaves, so I figure I might as well try it.)

Some posts I definitely need to catch up on when I get my new hard drive in:  end of school; summer in the sun; scout camp; girl's camp; family camping; Grandma Waterwheel's funeral; Will's field trip; Ben's paintings; our Lego Death Star saga;  two broken lenses and a defective camera (which has been sent back to Nikon for repairs--I'm secretly hoping they just send me a new one, but I do miss it terribly) and lots of other things I can't think of because I'm too tired.  So I guess I'll just leave it at that.

And I can't even think about adding a picture--I'd have to sit here for another 15 minutes while it loaded, and this has already taken long enough.  Hopefully I'll be back in a few days with a new hard drive and I'll be ready to write, because I've got big plans...but then Will will be off-track.  Figures as much!

What a pain! We love your blog but it is not worth stressing over. I hear you are computer problems, I can't even print off of mine!
Sorry to hear about your Grandma.
